Vicor DCM™ DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package provide leading power density and thermal and electrical performance using DCM technology in a rugged, chassis-mountable package. The VIA packaging technology offers enhanced versatility in converter mounting and cooling. The VIA package simplifies mounting to a chassis or other external heat sinking device and provides improved thermal performance. These Vicor DC-DC converters feature efficiencies up to 93%. This series includes nominal input voltage families of 28VDC (16 to 50VIN range), 48VDC (36 to 75VIN range), 270VDC (160 to 420VIN range), and 300VDC (180 or 200 to 420VIN range), with output voltages ranging from 5 to 48VDC and at power levels up to 600W. DCM DC-DC Converters in a VIA Package are ideally suited for use in a broad range of industrial, process control, automotive, heavy equipment, communications, and defense/aerospace applications.
