Molex Mini-Fit Blind Mate Interface (BMI) connectors support up to 13.0A for high-current and high-density applications. The connectors allow misalignment and provide a "float" of up to 2.54mm between mating surfaces for easy blind-mate connections. BMI connectors utilize both the Mini-Fit Jr. and Mini-Fit Plus terminals to support up to 9.0A or 13.0A. Many options are available, including through-hole, press-fit, or SMC headers and tin or gold terminals.

Polarizing retention pegs on headers ensure proper orientation on the PCB and then holds position during solder processing
