TDA7901 Automotive Quad Power Amplifiers

STMicroelectronics TDA7901 Automotive Quad Power Amplifiers are single-chip quad-bridge amplifiers with advanced BCD technology integrating a full D/A converter, digital input for direct connection to I2S (or TDM), and powerful MOSFET output stages. The integrated D/A converter allows performance to reach a 117dB S/N ratio with more than 117dB of dynamic range. The TDA7901 incorporates an innovative high-efficiency concept optimized for uncorrelated music signals. The TDA7901 implements class G operation mode. Class G operation mode allows the dissipated “output power” under average listening conditions to be reduced more than the standard class AB devices. These amplifiers also integrate a programmable PLL that can lock at the input frequencies of 64*Fs for all the input configurations.
